We appreciate your feedback :-)
Thanks for your very cool customer emails (and links to POP videos)
We've been blown away by face-to-face feedback and emails we've received from our customers, and wanted to share this email we recently rec'd by Kim B of So Carolina because her experience with p.o.p. -- both product and name -- resonated on such a personal level.  We appreciate her letting us share this email, and we thank everyone again for all the great feedback you send our way.  We never take it lightly and know how much it means to want to share your experience with us.  We truly thank you for taking the time to do so! -- r&b@pop

I just wanted to say how fantastic your product is! I am a true Santa Monica native (born and raised...spent 28 years of my life there) who after living in Las Vegas for some time recently moved to South Carolina. It has been a huge culture shock for us to say the least! A great friend of mine who still lives in the area sent me a package of all things Santa Monica/So. Cal and in the box was your Rosemary Almond candy...phenomenal! All my new South Carolina friends will be getting a taste of Santa Monica for upcoming birthdays! I think the significance of the name of your company is great. I was not lucky enough to be alive when P.O.P existed but have been fascinated by it. I'm sure you've You Tube'd it and seen the actual footage from P.O.P. back in the day...it's awesome. I am also proud to say I am from Dog Town, the birthplace of skateboarding. Ahhh, it makes me miss my home! I just wanted to let you know I think you guys are great and I LOVE the candy!

Kim's right.  You Tube's got a lot on POP, including this (admittedly slower-paced) 3-min piece from a 1959 documentary.  This 8mm vintage footage is a little hard to make out at times, but it's silence while you watch is powerful ... it's a real Mad Men-living-room-watching-reels-of-a-family-vacation moment.  Finally, if you can make it past its 28-second intro, We Called It POP is a really nice commemorative piece that includes some color photos that show POP in its prime.
